A note from the artist:

The concept for The Animal & Botanical Tarot Deck originated in 2016 when I was completing my graduate certification in Natural Science Illustration at the University of Washington. A tarot novice at the time (and to this day), I felt that my highly detailed illustrative style and the magic within each tarot card could be combined to bring life and new understanding to the species represented in the deck.

The response to the artwork and interest in a deck has been overwhelming and is a constant reminder to keep going! I cannot wait to share this deck with the world & hope that each user discovers something new in the cards or in the natural world around us!

About the Author:

Fe(lix) Wild is a visionary Spiritual Life Coach with a penchant for digging deep while staying high. Being of Romanian Gypsy and Lithuanian descent he finds tarot card readings a natural form of divination. As the owner of Come Home Life Coaching he often integrates being a full time witch who holds space through tarot readings, energy work, herbal knowledge, as well as support for transgender folks and their families.

Fe(lix) feels incredibly honored to work with long time friend and collaborator Megan Ellis on the beautiful Animal & Botanical Tarot Deck. Writing the Companion Guide has been an amazing experience he will surely take with him the rest of his years. When not changing the world you can find Fe(lix) casting spells, ethically wildcrafting medicinal herbs, or finding a cat to pet. These days he resides in the mossy forest of the Pacific Northwest but has lived all over the states and has proudly traveled to every single one of them!
