Lauren of Valkyrie Fibers wrote this simple headband pattern to knit with her self-striping sock yarns!
Instructions:
Gauge: not important. Aim for 6 to 8 sts per inch.
Using a provisional cast on, cast on 66 stitches. Join in the round.
Rounds 1-3: K all.
Round 4: *K2tog, k2tog, yo, k, yo, k, yo, k, yo , ssk, skk), rep from * six times total.
Repeat Rounds 1-4 until your headback is long enough to fit around your head.
Round 5: K33.
Remove provisional cast on and place live stitches on a needle.
Cut working yarn, leaving a long tail for grafting. Add a twist (optional), and graft the headband shut.
